The French company Enco was formed in 1964 in the small town of Nogent-sur-Seine. In the process of developing their production activities, they actively interacted with leading industry figures, expanded the range and gained experience in creating high-end drive products. Since 1982, the company has entered into a partnership agreement with Thrige Electric, which in turn expands its geography and network of enterprises. Later, Enco would announce the merger of the companies and the formation of the Thrige Enco division, and in 1997 the Enco brand would be abolished and it would turn into Thrige Electric (currently T-T Electric).
During its existence, as an independent trademark, Enco has produced several successful series of DC motors under its own name:
The general industrial C and F series comprise a model range of eight heights (80 - 250 mm), variations in total length, cooling systems by self-ventilation, with forced ventilation and natural ventilation, splash-proof (IP23) and closed version (IP55), insulation class F.
Series for heavy industry SHF and SHC, 6 heights, several length variations, cooling systems by natural ventilation, with forced blowing b water, splash-proof (IP523) and closed version (IP54), insulation class F.
