Double-leaf check valve
A double-leaf flanged check valve is used in complex engineering systems to prevent the effects of water shocks, for example, when the pump is turned off. The shut-off element of the valve is made in the form of a disk, which, under the influence of the flow of the medium, folds in half, and when exposed to the reverse flow, the disk returns to its original position, thereby blocking its further movement in the pipeline system.
Unlike a single-leaf check valve, which can only be installed on a pipeline in a horizontal position, a double-leaf valve can be installed on a horizontal, inclined or vertical pipeline.
