The AIR 180 motors are a series of units with an electric three-phase drive, which are designed to operate in an alternating current network with a frequency of 50 Hz.
Application
AIR 180 electric motors are used in all areas of industry and agriculture due to their standardization and uniformity. They are designed to activate the drives of mechanisms characterized by a constant number of revolutions and do not require speed differentiation.
Device
Externally, the electric motor has two versions: with a cast-iron bed and shields or with an aluminum alloy bed and cast-iron shields.
The internal structure of the unit is standard for an asynchronous motor of this type and is represented by a fixed stator in the form of a housing and a rotating rotor. Copper wire windings are laid in special niches of the stator, which are connected in phases in the form of a triangle or a star.
Features
Electric motors of this modification are characterized by a low rotational speed and high power, which allows them to be used as driving mechanisms on various machines and conveyors. The rated power of the engine is designed to operate in S1 mode, which guarantees continuous continuous operation without overheating. The use of this type of unit in short-term or repeated short-term modes is impractical, since it leads to significant overheating of the winding and wiring lines at the time of restart, which may cause a decrease in the service life of the motor.
Modifications
The standard design of electric motors involves the use of an alternating current network with a frequency of 50 Hz, but options with a 60-hz frequency are available on request. The external dimensions of the modifications have the same width and height of 440x375mm, but differ in length: for AIR 180S models it is 630mm, and for AIR 180M – 680mm. The model line includes options:
- AIR 180 S2 with a power of 22kW, 3000 rpm and a weight of 160kg;
- AIR 180 S4 with a power of 22kW, 1500 rpm and a weight of 170kg;
- Air 180 M2 with a capacity of 30 kW, 3000 rpm and a weight of 180 kg;
- AIR 180 M4 with a capacity of 30 kW, 1500 rpm and a weight of 190 kg;
- Air 180 M6 with a power of 18.5kW, 1000 rpm and a weight of 180 kg;
- AIR 180 M8 with a power of 15kW, 750 rpm and a weight of 180kg.
For the stationary installation of engines of this series, the manufacturer provides several mounting methods: using paws, with paws and a flange connection, or only a flange. You can buy an engine with any available mount.
