The Sicme Motori C series electric motors are DC electric motors designed to operate as part of a frequency–controlled electric drive in a hazardous environment.  

The C–series engines are certified by CESI (Centro Elettrotecnico Sperimentale Italiano - Italian Electrotechnical Testing Center) in accordance with ATEX Directive 94/9/EC.

Note: SicmeMotori C-series engines are not certified in Russia and the countries of the Customs Union for use in explosive atmospheres.
