A large number of inclusions, the impact nature of the load, acceleration and braking, work in conditions of elevated temperatures, aggressive environments, this is how the operation of rolling, crane and transport equipment at a metallurgical plant can be characterized.
To work in these conditions, the company T-T Electric developed Mill Duty DC electric motors manufactured in accordance with the AISE standard (Association of Manufacturers of Equipment and Technologies for Metallurgy).
Design features of Mill Duty electric motors
- TEFV (fully enclosed ventilated) and TENV (fully enclosed non-ventilated) housing;
- Increased insulation class H (operation at temperatures up to 110?C);
- Operation in the field attenuation mode;
- reinforced bearing shields;
- removable conical shaft 1:9.6 (1:10);
- adaptation of the connecting dimensions;
- installation of additional options.
MillDuty Engine Parameters
- Rated power: 7.5 - 187 kW;
