In these check valves (art. 2450), the locking element is a special disc that blocks the return flow of the transported medium. The product is intended for use in water supply and heating pipelines.
The valve body is made of durable cast iron (GG-25) and is equipped with flanges (DIN 2501 PN16 standard) for its connection to the main line. Brass-nickel rods and plates are used in small-sized products (up to DN100). In larger diameter valves (from DN125), these elements are made of nickel-plated cast iron.
The advantages of such shut-off valves include:
a simple and inexpensive design;
reliable operation at temperatures from -10 to +100 °C;
trouble-free operation at medium pressure up to 16 bar.
The valve design uses a modern NBR sealer, which ensures sufficient tightness. A characteristic feature of this device is the quiet, almost silent closing of the flap.
