Company Marelli Motori has developed a wide range of models marine alternators a variety of designs and a wide range of power values up to 11,000 kVA covering low, medium and high levels. These are high-quality, safe, efficient and well-prepared working units for the conditions of the sea.
The device body is made of a rigid steel frame and shields made of high-strength cast iron with spherical graphite or gray cast iron, and structural steel is also used. The shaft material is laminated carbon steel, forged and with a diameter of 290 mm and above. The stator/rotor windings are coated with unsaturated polyester and polyamide resins, insulation class – H (synthetic enamel). Protection against radio interference of class B (EN 55011). It is installed horizontally, IM 1001 or IM 1101 in accordance with IEC 60034-7.
The heat exchanger is installed in the upper part of the generator, uses fresh or seawater, is equipped with a leak sensor, operating pressure is 6 bar (test 10 bar), flow rate is 18 cubic meters /hour. The structure has a double CuNi 90/10 pipe, the body is made up of copper plates.
