Cam pump The HLR is manufactured according to EHEDG specifications for installations and processes that meet the most stringent hygiene requirements. The cam pump is characterized by delicate pumping and low shear, causing the least damage to the product. The ideal pump for pumping all types of liquids (from 1 to 1,000,000 cP) and liquids with mechanical inclusions. The cam pump is widely used in the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.
The principle of operation
The cam pump consists of two rotors rotating inside the pump housing without touching each other. As the rotors rotate, the space between the housing and the rotors is gradually filled with product, which moves to the discharge port with a certain volume. The pumped product forms a continuous flow due to the adjusted tolerances between the rotors and the housing, ensuring an efficient pumping process.
