The KVB-25 series of vertical screw pumps is a barrel pump in hygienic design. The pump design was designed to pump media out of barrels by means of a pumping nozzle placed in a container.
The most important applications of this pump are pumping fruit concentrates in the production of beverages, tomato concentrate in the production of ketchup, pumping cream, honey and other high viscosity media.
The pump is characterized by careful pumping of media with delicate inclusions.
The principle of operation
The pumping nozzle is inserted into a barrel or other container filled with a medium for pumping. Due to friction between the stator and the rotor, a vacuum or reduced pressure is created at the suction port, thereby facilitating the entry of product into the pump.
The rotation of the rotor pushes forward the cavities between the rotor and the stator and moves the product to the feed pipe.
