Company UMEB (Romania) has been engaged in the production of low-voltage rotary engines and alternators for more than half a century, becoming a real national treasure for its country. The UMEB range of electric motors is represented by the following categories:

three-phase asynchronous motors

• general industrial motors of the ASU series with a short-circuited rotor type, power 0.09 - 315 kW, cast iron body, speed 1500 - 3000 rpm;
• explosion-proof engines of ASA series of categories Ex d IIC (T5, T4/T3) and Ex de IIC T4/T3, AEM and ASAM for underground operation (methane, coal dust), ASNA sealed and intrinsically safe, ASAF with integrated brake;
• crane motors with a phase rotor of the AIM and AIFM series (with integrated electromagnetic brake), for S3 mode (6 switches /hour, 40% turn-on time), power 2 - 75 kW, speed 600 - 1500 rpm;
• crane motors of the ASFM series with a short-circuited rotor, have an electromagnetic brake, for the S43 mode (120 switches /hour, 40% turn-on time), power 0.4 - 16 kW, speed 750 - 1500 rpm;
• specialized series: submersible S/SS for underwater pumps, ASR for roller mills and others.

DC motors

• MCU series for driving machines and other mechanisms of various profiles, power range 5 - 180 kW, excellent dynamic performance;
• metallurgical engines of the MCM and MCMD series with a capacity of 3.7 - 150 kW, power supply 220 and 440 V.
