The standard-passage crane is a shut-off device designed to fully open or close the pipeline passage. It is not allowed to use the crane as a control valve, and therefore the time of its incomplete opening or closing should be reduced to a minimum. The type of connection of the device to the pipeline is coupling (threaded). The thread on both sides of the faucet is internal, ranging in size from ½ inch to 4 inches. The maximum allowable working pressure of the medium in the pipeline should not exceed 25 bar, and its temperature should not exceed 180 ° C.
Brass is used as the material for the manufacture of the device (according to the European standard DIN 17660). The handle is made of stainless steel and equipped with a PVC coating, according to modern safety requirements. Seals made of Teflon and nitrile rubber are used to seal the moving elements of the crane.
