The multifunctional multi-channel transmitter/controller 8619 is a microprocessor-based transmitter/controller, which, depending on the design of the housing, is designed for mounting on a wall or a shield. It is directly connected to sensors that produce raw signals, for example, pH, ORP, conductivity and flow values by means of pulses, or sensors (for example, pressure, level, chlorine, etc.) that produce analog signals (0-20 mA, 4-20 mA, 0-2 V, 0-5 V, 0-10 V). It is an ideal device for measuring and regulating measured values, as well as for dosing processes, for example, in water treatment plants (such as boilers, cooling towers and reverse osmosis systems) and in food and pharmaceutical industry equipment. The modularity of the hardware and software provides high adaptability for practical use in combination with an advantageous price-performance ratio. Thanks to advanced electronics and modern control and regulation algorithms, optimal process control is achieved and, thereby, consistently high quality with minimal operator intervention. With support for Modbus TCP and PROFINET protocol (compatibility Class B) or EtherNet/IP, the 8619 type device is easily integrated into most industrial Ethernet environments. This means that all important technological values, such as measurement data, process diagnostics or device status, can be easily transferred to the automation system.
