Plate heat exchanger Tranter GLP Series
Structurally, plate heat exchangers are made in the form of a set of corrugated plates clamped between two thick steel plates using coupling bolts. This design of the heat exchangers provides easy access to them for inspection and cleaning.
Each heat exchange plate is made in the form of a single part that does not have seams or joints.
Each plate has 4 holes, one in each corner. In multichannel heat exchangers, special separation plates are provided, in which 2 holes are not punched.
Rubber sealing washers are glued to the heat-conducting surface and holes. Washers are held on both sides of the plates by special protrusions. 2 washers are provided for each hole to prevent leaks. When the washers break, the leak is visible on the surface
