Safety couplings Mayr EAS-Dutytorque they provide reliable protection against overloading of extruders. Instant disconnection of the shafts when the set torque limits are reached, without automatic engagement, free run-out. Wide range of limiter trigger level settings, long service life with minimal maintenance requirements.
The couplings of this series have a compact design with the possibility of radial mounting without the need to move the drive, and are suitable for large shaft diameters. A version with an elastic insert is available to order for effective offset compensation. Re-installation after disconnection takes a minimum of time and effort.
