The device is used to measure/regulate pH, redox potential, or ammonia concentration. The operating mode can be switched directly on the device. Depending on the measured value, combined sensors (e.g. combined pH/redox electrodes, ion-selective sensors) or separate electrodes (glass/metal electrodes with a separate reference electrode) can be connected to the device. The second measured value is the temperature, which is measured using a Pt 100/1000 sensor. Thus, it is possible to automatically compensate for temperature when measuring pH and NH3 concentrations. The device is configured using the keys on the device panel. The value of the measured value is displayed on a large LCD screen. Text comments in Russian make the configuration process convenient and help to program the device correctly. The modular structure of the device makes it possible to meet the requirements of various applications.
Compact design and easy setup are the main attributes of the new JUMO AQUIS 500 series of measuring transducers/regulators.
The JUMO AQUIS series devices allow you to measure/adjust the basic electrochemical parameters of liquids. The JUMO AQUIS 500 pH is used to measure and regulate the pH value, redox potential and ammonia concentration, the JUMO AQUIS 500 CR is used to measure the electrical conductivity of liquids using 2 or 4 electrode conductometric cells. Devices for connecting inductive sensors (JUMO AQUIS 500 Ci) and measuring specific values (JUMO AQUIS 500 AS, for example, for the concentration of dissolved oxygen, free chlorine, etc.) complete the series. Each device has an additional input for connecting a Pt100/Pt1000 temperature sensor or other thermal resistance (max. 4 kOhm), the characteristic of which is entered into the device using the setup program. The JUMO AQUIS 500 series devices can be used wherever compact converters/regulators are needed for on-site installation. Possible applications of the JUMO AQUIS 500 are water treatment, electroplating, wastewater, pharmaceutical and food industries, neutralization plants, ion exchangers, energy, chemical industry, etc.
The graphic screen with background illumination and text comments on the device screen in Russian make the operation and configuration process very convenient, there is practically no need to refer to the operating instructions. When setting up the device, the built-in assistant guides the user through all the main menu items, allowing you to program the device accurately. The Russified setup program allows you to load the main languages into the device, including Russian.
The main and auxiliary measured values can be displayed on the device screen in a classic digital representation or in the form of a diagram. The trend indicator gives an idea of how fast the instantaneous value of the measured value is changing. This helps the user to assess the speed of the ongoing transients.
The devices of the JUMO AQUIS 500 series have a compact polyamide housing with IP67 dust and moisture protection. All electronic components are located in a removable front panel, which allows for panel mounting of converters /regulators. The presence of a valve with a gas permeable membrane provides protection against condensation. The JUMO AQUIS 500 can have up to two galvanically isolated real-value analog outputs or continuous regulator outputs of 0(4)...20mA, respectively 0(2)...10V. The output signal type is freely programmable. The other two outputs are equipped with relays that allow both limit value monitoring and PID regulation. Thus, there are no problems with the control of such actuators as valves, metering pumps, etc.
Three power supply board options provide a choice between standard supply voltages of 12 V DC, 20-53 V AC/DC and 110-240 V AC.
Additionally, the supplied Russified setup program allows you to load menus in various languages into the device and makes the device setup process even more convenient.
