The device is used to measure /regulate the specific electrical conductivity /concentration in liquid media. Its use is especially recommended in environments where severe fouling can occur due to the deposition of dirt, oil, grease, gypsum or lime. The built-in temperature sensor provides fast and accurate temperature compensation, which is of particular importance when measuring electrical conductivity. Additional functions, such as the combined switching of the measuring range and temperature coefficient, allow the device to be optimally used in CIP processes.
Two built-in switching outputs can be arbitrarily programmed to control the limit values of electrical conductivity/concentration and/or temperature. In addition, alarm and control tasks (desalination) can be performed. The device is controlled using a film keyboard and a graphic display with clear text (the control language is Russian), or using a convenient setup program for a PC. By simply turning the housing cover, a good view of the display is achieved during installation, both on vertical and horizontal pipelines. Using the setup program, you can also save and print device configuration data in memory. The device can also be supplied without a keyboard and display. In this case, a setup program is required for programming. Depending on the specific requirements, a plastic or stainless steel housing is selected. The JUMO CTI-750 can be supplied as a combined device (measuring transducer and sensor in one device) or as a separate version (measuring transducer and sensor are connected by cable). The split version is optimal for installations with strong vibration and/or strong thermal radiation at the measurement site or for installation in hard-to-reach places. Typical applications: food, pharmaceutical industry, beverage industry, product separation in beverage production, breweries and dairies, bottle washing plants, concentration control in electroplating and chemical industry, CIP purification, hydraulic engineering and wastewater treatment, reagent dosing, leak indication, heating and cooling systems, etc.
Since its introduction to the market in early 2006, the JUMO CTI-500/750 inductive transducers of electrical conductivity, concentration and temperature have been in high demand among customers from various industries.
Since the end of 2007, JUMO has been offering its customers the JUMO CTI-750 inductive converter not only in a plastic case, but also in a stainless steel case. Both types of devices are supplied both in a combined version (the sensor is rigidly connected to the converter) and in a separate version (the measuring converter and the sensor are connected by cable).
The device is controlled using a keyboard and a graphic display with clear text (the menu language is Russian) or using a Russified setup program for a PC. The sensor material is PVDF or PEEK.
