Description

The rotary actuator is a pneumatic two-piston actuator, which was primarily designed to actuate valves and ball valves. This double action and return spring (single action) are available. The double piston principle provides high torque with minimal external dimensions. The rotation angle can be adjusted by ± 6° using the standard end position adjustment.

Due to the double piston principle, the force of the pistons rotating in opposite directions is transmitted to the common gear through two racks rigidly connected to the pistons. This principle provides a linear torque curve throughout the entire stroke. The built-in spring assemblies of simple-acting actuators allow, in addition to simple control, to approach the set position in the event of a failure of compressed air control, as well as voltage control (fault-tolerant).
