Specialized ABB ACQ810 series electric drives designed to optimize the work with the equipment used in wastewater and water supply systems, a popular solution for automation and control of pumping applications of various gradations. It has in its arsenal such relevant functions for this industry as: energy saving, remote monitoring and diagnostics, auto-repair, smooth start for filling the pipeline, protective systems, modes of reduced and enhanced operation depending on the pressure level in the system, cleaning the impeller, accounting for fluid flow and other possibilities.
The drive programming system uses a real-time clock, and the Modbus RTU standard is integrated for network operation (adapters are supplied for other protocols). The package includes DriveStudio and DriveSPC software for working with a computer. Pre-installed configuration programs make it easy to implement equipment, select the appropriate mode, evaluate energy saving indicators, monitor the current status and emerging problems. The user interface is very well designed, the maintenance of the drive is not difficult.
