Electric drive of the ABB ACSM1-04 series It is a system for controlling the speed, torque and movement of electromechanical machines that interact with asynchronous, synchronous and servo motors through feedback devices. It is characterized by a compact modular design, high flexibility and adaptability in setting up to specific production conditions to create the most optimal and comprehensive solutions.
The braking energy recovery function is implemented, which is very important when working with braking cycles. A wide range of control functions is carried out using the control panel or PC software, a large selection of presets. ACSM1 converters are compatible with most types of sensors and motors, analog and digital I/O modules. It has a network choke to limit harmonic distortion, a built-in safe shutdown system.
Compatible feedback interfaces: TTL, Resolver, Sin/Cos, Endat, Hiperface, SSI.
Industrial protocols used: PROFIBUS, DeviceNetTM, CANopen, PROFINET, EtherCAT, SERCOS, EtherNet /IP, Ethernet Power Link.
The scope of application of this series is very wide, namely: plastic, food, printing, paper, woodworking, textile industries, loading and unloading equipment and other fields.
