AC drives Control Techniques Unidrive SP cabinet version

The cabinet design of Unidrive SP frequency converters is a functionally and hardware–complete solution based on Unidrive SP electronic regulators for electric motors in the power range from 90 kW to 675 kW, which are assembled based on Unidrive SPM modules. 

The use of the modular design of SPM allows you to create flexible multifunctional high-performance control systems, the use of cabinets with a degree of protection IP21, IP23, IP54 allows you to operate the equipment regardless of environmental conditions.

Technical parameters of the Unidrive SP electric drive

• Rated power: 90 – 675 kW; 
• Supply voltage ratings: 380 V /690 V; 
• Optional features: semiconductor fuses, automatic protection devices, EMC filters, brake resistors. 

Types of electric motors used in conjunction with Unidrive SP regulators

• synchronous servo motors with permanent magnets; 
• asynchronous servo motors with a short-circuited rotor ; 
• asynchronous electric motors with a short-circuited rotor. 

Unidrive SP operating modes for electric motor control

• Rotor field control mode /RFC (Rotor Flux Control) in an open loop; 
• Vector mode closed-loop motor control with feedback sensor (high-precision control of asynchronous motors); 
• Servo control mode (control mode for synchronous permanent magnet servo motors, asynchronous servo motors); 
• Vector control of the motor in an open loop; 
• Volt-frequency control of an electric motor (control of parallel electric motors in scalar mode (V/F=const), with slip compensation and voltage boost).
