Mitsubishi Electric MELSERVO-J3 MR-J3 AC Drives

Powerful series servos MELSERVO-J3 (MR-J3) from the company Mitsubishi Electric to perform industrial automation tasks of varying degrees of complexity, from simple uniaxial applications with label positioning to complex multiaxial systems consisting of 96 synchronized components. They have a compact design, excellent performance, a wide range of intelligent functions, are simple and convenient to install and maintain.

The drives of the MR-J3 series are equipped with encoders with a resolution of 262144 pulses/revolution, advanced vibration suppression capabilities. The USB/RS422 interface is built-in to work with the computer, and there are extensive network capabilities. For flexibility of configuration and quick integration, there is an automatic recognition function of the electric motor, auto-tuning in real time.

There are four categories of drives, depending on the built-in functionality:

• MR-J3-A - basic type for standard applications, 2 analog inputs, digital input for receiving a pulse signal, 7 preset speeds
• MR-J3-B - SSCNET III bus type, high-speed motion control, high accuracy, absolute position detection system
• MR-J3-T - with integrated positioning control functions (up to 256 steps) and CC-Link communication capabilities
• MR-J3-A-EtherCAT - EtherCAT bus connection, CANopen, CoE, CiA402 profile support, for operation via an 18-bit absolute encoder (262,144 imps/rpm)
