Built on the basis of the Sinamics platform, which is unified for modern Siemens drives, the Sinamics DCM electric drive combines the advantages of the predecessor Simoreg DC Master and advanced Motion Control technologies from Siemens.
The use of Motion Control technologies has made it possible to create a modern cost-effective solution that allows, if necessary, to increase the functionality of the system through additional modules and software. (Example: the Simoreg DC Master 6RA70 drive in the basic configuration already included a large number of functionality, all this was included in the cost of the equipment, but at the same time the user used no more than 50% of its capabilities).
At the moment, our organization is making a gradual transition to using the modern generation of Siemens thyristor electric drives.
