Sprint Electric SLE DC Drives

Direct current drives SPRINT ELECTRIC models SLE are analog regulators with 2-edge mode operation, for the nominal values of the armature winding current from 34 to 106 A. A very compact device, in an affordable price range, easy to use, reliable and efficient in operation. It is used to control motors with unidirectional shaft rotation (non-reversible), popular applications: metallurgy, paper and plastic industry.

The SPRINT ELECTRIC SLE is available in four versions, depending on the rated power values, in one standard size with dimensions of 290 x 215 x 155 mm (h x w x d).

• Rated voltage: up to 480 V;
• Power: 14 – 44 kW;
• The overload level of 150% is calculated for 30 seconds before switching off (lock timer);
• Torque control input with limiting speed limiter;
• Improved drive and motor protection system with emergency warning, lamp fault indication;
• Three-phase thyristor bridge, fully controllable;
• Zero speed lock function (especially relevant for extruders);
• It has a large number of channels for connection (analog and digital connectors);
• S-shaped acceleration curve;
• Feedback from the tachogenerator or AVF.
• User-defined parameters via switching channels: acceleration/deceleration, maximum and minimum speeds, motor current value, IR compensation, stabilization, speed in push mode, etc.
