Company PIV Drives The production of a popular line has begun gearboxes for POSITWIN twin screw extruders Back in 1984, due to their reliability in operation, they found wide application in the plastic, food and pharmaceutical industries. Exceptionally high-quality components and high performance, the gears have been thermally hardened and carefully ground to ensure maximum engagement and low noise. The axial load is safely absorbed inside the gearbox, reinforced and durable construction.
The case has a fairly compact design, is made of thick-walled gray cast iron, and has a ribbed surface on the inside. A cooling system for lubricating fluids has been installed. According to the type of operation, the line includes gearboxes for heavy-duty extruders and simpler models for lateral dosing without built-in stages (specifications are available on request). There is a wide range of coupling couplings available upon additional request. All products in the series undergo a mandatory stage of testing the operation of the installation.
