The RF pump is a reversible pump with flexible impeller. The self-priming effect is achieved due to the pump design, the maximum self-priming depth is 5 meters. The scope of application of the RF pump is very wide, the pump is capable of efficiently pumping products of various degrees of viscosity, products with inclusions, as well as gas-containing products.
Pumps with a flexible impeller are widely used in the dairy and food industries, when pumping of edible oils, wine and beverages.
The principle of operation
Due to the asymmetric cross section of the pump body, the volume between the flexible wings of the impeller increases in the suction zone, a vacuum is created, and the liquid enters the pump body.
The rotating impeller moves the product from the suction to the discharge nozzle. At the discharge port, due to the asymmetric shape of the body, the wings of the impeller bend, the volume between them decreases, thereby displacing the product.
