The cylindrical coaxial gear motor R, as a rule, has two or three stages with a range of gear ratios from three to two hundred. Usually, one stage may not be enough to achieve the required range of gear ratios of gear motors, as a result of which two- and three-stage gear motors are widely used.
In such devices, cylindrical bevel-toothed wheels are used to transmit motion, which are usually mounted on a flange or paws. This motor got its name, namely "coaxial", mainly due to the fact that its output shaft is located on the same axis with the electric motor. In its assembly, the cylindrical coaxial gear motor is slightly similar to a wave, planetary and cycloid gearbox.
Cylindrical gear motors of type R are designed and manufactured in an all-in-one one-piece housing using high-strength materials and the latest technologies, so that they can withstand increased loads.
