Welded shell-plate heat exchanger Gea Vahterus

Welded shell-and-plate heat exchangers combine all the advantages of plate and shell-and-tube heat exchangers and are a reliable, compact device without seals. They are characterized by a high heat transfer coefficient and good resistance to high temperatures (up to 900 °C) and pressures (up to 140 bar).

The main types of welded shell-plate heat exchangers:

• PSHE heat exchanger (shell-plate heat exchanger)- Version: the heat exchanger is fully welded or with a removable flange
• PSHE droplet separator heat exchange systems - Version: evaporator heat exchanger with welded separator and pipe system for separating moisture and returning it back to evaporation
