Brief Description Measuring transducers receive the value of sensor sensors from resistance thermometers, thermoelements, resistance potentiometers/WFG or resistance/potentiometers.
When using a resistance/potentiometer or a resistance thermometer, the input sensor connection can be made using a two-, three- or four-wire circuit. The range of recorded voltage signals is 100... +1100 mV. Depending on the choice of measuring input, linear, temperature-linear, and conveniently configurable linearization options are available according to customer specifications. The output signal in the 707050 version is 4...20 mA. In the 707051 version, the output signal can be either 4 ... 20 mA or 0 ... 10 In . The measuring input and output signal are galvanically isolated from each other. In each version, the output signal can be reversed. The configuration of the measuring transducer by sensor type, sensor connection technique, measuring range (configurable) and linearization is performed using the Setup program.
Communication with the PC is carried out via the USB interface without additional power supply. The measured minimum and maximum process value, minimum and maximum process temperature and sensor connection can be checked online via the USB interface. The operating mode of the measuring transducer is indicated by a two-color (red/green) control LED.
The correct condition corresponds to the green signal. The occurrence of a malfunction, such as a sensor failure, is signaled by flashing.
