The control head of the 8691 model is designed for decentralized automation of direct-flow pneumatic valves ELEMENT 21xx. The position of the valve is determined by a non-contact analog sensor, which, upon commissioning, automatically recognizes and stores the final positions of the valve using the training function. The built-in pilot valve controls single-acting or double-acting actuators. As an option, you can select the communication interface AS, DeviceNet, IO-Link or buS (based on CANopen). The design of the control head and the servo allows you to organize an internal supply of working air without external flexible pipelines. In addition to the electrical position alarm, the status of the device is optically displayed on the control head by means of a powerful LED, which is clearly visible even in difficult conditions. The housing consists of materials resistant to chemicals, is easy to clean and corresponds to the degree of protection of the shell for use in hygienic equipment of the food and pharmaceutical industries. When cleaning the equipment, the protection of the shell of the housing is maintained by excessive pressure in the control head. In combination with Burkert actuators of the ELEMENT series, the pneumatic control system provides ventilation of the spring installation cavity, while preventing contamination of the actuator chambers from the environment.
