KROHNE OPTIFLEX 1300C level gauge L=11.82m
The OPTIFLEX 1300C is designed exclusively for measuring the distance, level, phase boundary, mass and volume of liquids, pastes, suspensions, bulk and granular products.
The OPTIFLEX device can be used in overflow protection systems (WHG) when ordering a device of the appropriate design.
The OPTIFLEX 1300 C device is a 2–wire reflex radar (Time Domain Reflection) level gauge developed by KROHNE.
Based on a new 3rd generation electronic base, the device generates very narrow pulses with high frequency and short rise and fall time. When processed, such a signal has a higher amplitude, which makes it possible to achieve a higher resolution of the device and, ultimately, higher measurement accuracy.
Reflex radar level meters use special probes (sensors) as waveguides through which the operating signal moves from the device to the surface of the product(s). A wide range of such probes (6 types) allows you to measure the level for most products, even in the most difficult technological conditions.
The OPTIFLEX 1300 C device can detect and measure the phase interface even with a very small layer thickness of the top product, for example, such as a 50 mm layer of oil on water in a large reservoir.
This new generation level meter, manufactured on fully finished electronic modules, has a completely new graphical interface for user interaction, with “intelligence” and a real-time hint system.
The built-in expert program allows you to make quick adjustments using special images on the display. To quickly set up the device, the user will not need this practical guide (does not apply to devices installed in hazardous areas). Each menu item of the device has a built-in prompt, which is activated on the screen 15 seconds after the last key press.
In the unlikely event of a malfunction, a special icon will appear on the screen. When you click on this icon in the PACTWARE software package, or when you select the error display mode in the device, the setup wizard will automatically start, which will give a description of this error and recommendations for its elimination. In more difficult cases, consult with KROHNE representatives (see the last page of the manual).
