- Control system for high-voltage electric motors using a two-transformer circuit
Management systems high-voltage electric motors They consist of low-voltage frequency converters (0.4/0.69 kV) and standard transformers.
Application
- Sewage pumping stations.
- Pumping stations I and II lifting.
- Network pumps of CHP, RTS and KTS.
- Technical specifications
- The supply voltage of the controlled electric motors is 2-12 kV ± 10%.
- The frequency of the supply network is 45...66 Hz.
- The power of the controlled electric motors is 160...5000 kW.
- Protection of the cabinet housing with an IP21 /IP54 frequency converter.
- The power factor of the system is ~1.
- The efficiency of the system (including matching transformers) is 96% (IF efficiency is ~ 98.5%).
Advantages of a two-transformer circuit
- Maximum flexibility in choosing the supply voltage of the electric motor.
- Galvanic isolation (due to the presence of transformers).
- The absence of high-frequency voltage components affecting the winding of the electric motor.
- No bearing currents (due to the filter and galvanic isolation).
- Low noise level (due to the almost perfect sinusoidal current and voltage).
- Versions with 6, 12 and 18 pulse rectifier.
Ease of maintenance of the frequency converter:
- free space at the back of the cabinet is not required (possibility of installation close to the wall);
- the power part of the converter can be extended outwards on the guide rails;
- the possibility of installing additional protection and control devices (circuit breakers, contactors, relays, etc.).
Standard delivery package
- The frequency converter.
- A sinusoidal filter.
- Three-phase network choke.
- The EMC filter.
- Step-up and step-down transformers.
Variants of control systems according to the composition of the equipment:

RUS: Vacon NXC IF (cabinet version, IP21/IP54) and:
- 690 V - dry special TSZP type converter transformers (IP23);
- 400 V - oil transformers of type TMG11 (UHL4, U(XL)1).
RUSELCOM RVP-C (cabinet version, IP21/IP54) and:
- 690 V - dry special TSZP type converter transformers (IP23);
- 400 V - oil transformers of type TMG11(UHL4, U(XL)1).
RUSELCOM RVP (floor version, IP21/IP54), SIN filter (IP00 – for installation in a separate cabinet by the customer) and:
- 690 V - dry special TSZP type converter transformers (IP23);
- 400 V - oil transformers of type TMG11 (UHL4, U(XL)1).
Accommodation options:
- UHL4 version – for installation in heated rooms;
- version U1, UHL1 – placement of a low–voltage (0.4/0.69 kV) frequency converter in a modular building with a preheating and climate control system, placement of transformers in accordance with the technical conditions of the enterprise
